About Us

Sunrise Child Care Center was the lifelong dream of owner and director, Kacey Brooks. She has always had a passion for teaching young children and helping them to develop into respectful, intelligent and responsible individuals. Kacey graduated from Carson Newman in 2009 with a degree in Child and Family studies, after which she began her career in child care working as a preschool teacher and then director for several years. In August 2016 Kacey and her husband Chris welcomed their first child, Liam, into their family. At this time Kacey decided to pursue her dream of opening her own Center. Sunrise opened in February of 2017.

Megan Lusby joined Sunrise Child Care Center as an Infant/ Toddler teacher and was soon promoted to Assistant Director. Megan has TECTA training in both Infant/Toddler and Administration areas and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration.

At Sunrise we strive each and every day to make each child feel loved, special, and important. We focus on students individual needs and strengths in order to build confidence and help them reach their potential.
