After being on maternity leave for over 3 months, my time being at home before going back to work was quickly coming to an end. I didn’t want to send my sweet 3 month old baby to just anywhere. I had struggled for months finding a daycare that was safe and nurturing and one that felt like home to my little one. Ethier they were great and had no openings or they had openings and I was hesitant of the care. I work for the Blount County Chamber of Commerce and Sunrise Childcare became a member. As soon as I heard about them I called to schedule a tour. I walked in and had nothing but comfort and peace about Sunrise. The rooms are amazing and safe, the staff are exceptional and treat your littles as their own, and my son comes home happy every single day! The ladies at Sunrise are now family and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! If you don’t have a daycare or are looking for one, definitely make Sunrise Childcare a must to check out!

This place is AMAZING! As a former officer and very picky and paranoid parent, this place met all my expectations!!! I was blown away before even entering the place. Safety of the children is a huge concern, along with education and love for the children they have the opportunity to take care of! Seriously, look no further, THEY HAVE IT!!!!!

If you are looking for a childcare facility with a staff that truly cares for your child as if they were their own then you’ve found the place! What we saw when we toured the facility far surpassed our expectations. As soon as you enter the building you’re greeted by a bulletin board with information on their weekly menu, a program calendar of themed activities and special days, as well as upcoming events. The teacher to child ratios are small to ensure one-on-one interaction with each child, which was evident during our visit to each classroom. The playground is beautifully manicured and the rooms are mindfully arranged with age appropriate play areas and tons of new toys. Our favorite thing about this facility that sets it apart from others is their use of the Brightwheel app, which sends updates throughout the day directly to my phone. I get information on how much/what they ate, potty details, and nap times. I can also message the teacher directly through the app, which saves everyone time! I think any parent can appreciate the peace of mind you get when you can see how your little one’s day is going in real time rather than waiting until the end of the day to hear about it. The director and assistant director are always friendly and clearly knowledgeable about how to run a daycare. The teachers are absolutely spectacular at what they do, which is obvious in how much the kids love them! If you want a place that treats you like family, make Sunrise Childcare your new home.
